All HHSC coaches are Professional Certified Indiana Swim Coaches. They are certified in CPR, First Aid, & Safety Training. Our Coaches must pass a personal background screening with USA Swimming. Currently, all of our coaches are former Hurricanes as well as Highland High School swimmers and graduates
Bios
Aaron Willman – Head Coach
Coach Willman has been coaching for 9 years. Prior to coaching the HHSC he was Head Assistant Coach for the Lake Central Barracudas and Assistant Coach for Crown Point Bulldogs and the Crown Point High School team. Coach Willman is a former Highland Hurricane swimmer, a Highland High School swimmer, and a Highland High School graduate.
Ryan Harrington – Highland High School Swimming Coach
Coach Harrington has been coaching for 11 years. He has been the Highland High School Swimming Coach since 2003. Prior to HHS he has coached for Lake Central, Lincoln Consolidated High School (MI), and the Merrillville Aquatic Club.
Amy Geyer – Assistant Coach

Mari Angotti – Assistant coach

Mari has coached for 3 seasons with the Highland Hurricanes. Mari has been a Highland High School
swimmer for 2 seasons.
Tim Geyer – Assistant Coach
Coach Tim is our newest coach. This is his first season coaching with the Hurricanes. Tim has been a Highland High School swimmer for 3 seasons.
