We are a nonprofit organization in cooperation with Highland High School. Unlike most youth organization our coaches are paid thus, our fees are a little more than other sports. All of our coaches are Professionally Certified Indiana Swim Coaches. They are certified in CPR; First Aid and Safety Training. Approximately 90% of our fees go to coaching expenses.
All swimmers are required to have a USA (United Swimming Association) card, which is cost an additional. $28.50. The card includes excess accident, and liability insurance, and other benefits detailed on the USA swimming site. We also have a $15 meet charge and a candy-fundraiser ($20 – buyout or $40 for a box candy-bars). The club tries to keep fees as low as possible.
We do ask all families write a parent participation check for $100. The check will be held and then returned upon completing the volunteer requirement. Almost all parents complete their volunteer requirement with no problems. In rare situations, we had families that can’t volunteer and rather pay the fee.
